Srinagar, 04 Nov, : Aanganwadi workers on Wednesday staged a protest in Press Enclave Srinagar, demanding regularization of their services, payment of honorarium on monthly basis and disbursement of their pending wages.
Having assembled under the banner of Aanganwadi Workers and Helpers Union, scores of Anganwadi workers assembled in Press Enclave Srinagar on Wednesday noon and staged a protest.
Raising slogans in demand of payment of their honorarium regularly at the month end, they said that their wages are pending since last eight months, with the result they are faced with tremendous financial difficulties.
